Quality Assurance Engineering Specialist I Jobs in Roseville, CA at Penumbra
We are a global supplier of precision metal and machined fabricated components and assemblies serving the aerospace, power generation and commercial industries seeking an experienced metal manufacturing inspector.
Full time position M-Th 10hr shift, 5:30a-4p on site – Day Shift
Primary functions are to perform: first piece inspection, in-process inspection and final inspection on precision sheet metal formed product with accompanying quality documentation.
Looking for a candidate with experience in:
GD & T
The ability to read and interpret machining and fabrication drawings, work instructions and engineering specifications
Standard quality control measuring devices: verniers, micrometers, height gages
Work methodically and efficiently, dependable and pays attention to detail
The ability to use a CMM is a plus
Understanding of the NDT process with regard to FPI & X-ray
Minimum of 5-year metal manufacturing inspection experience a plus
Use micrometers, calipers and other hand-held inspection tools to verify in-process and final dimensions
Review and approve material and special process certifications
Follow work instructions on shop routers to verify compliance to customer requirements
