The BioArte is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Executive to maintain and expand our high standards of regulatory compliance.
This hybrid role offers flexibility with remote work from Italy for up to five months per year and regular visits to our Italian branch located in Siena.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee ISO 9001, HACCP, ISO 22000, and IVDR for medical devices compliance.
Conduct audits, inspections, and implement corrective actions across all systems.
Supervise critical control points and ensure food safety procedures are followed.
Ensure compliance with regulations, including medical diagnostic licenses and product labelling.
Maintain records and documentation for both food safety and medical device compliance.
Lead staff training on quality, food safety, and regulatory requirements.
Ideal Candidate:
At least 1 year of experience in food safety or quality assurance within regulated industries.
A qualification in Food Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biology, Quality Management, or a related field is beneficial, but not mandatory.
Experience with HACCP, ISO 22000, IVDR, and medical device QMS is highly desirable.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and strong organizational skills.
Proficiency in English for effective communication.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Capable of managing multiple tasks and working effectively under pressure.
