Overall Job Scope
Support the implementation and continuous improvement of Cordlife’s Quality Management System (QMS) by ensuring compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and internal quality standards. The role is responsible for driving quality assurance activities, supporting audits, managing quality documentation and compliance processes, investigating quality issues, facilitating CAPA and risk management, and contributing to continuous quality improvement across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the QMS in compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards (e.g. MOH, AABB, ISO, FACT, GDP, MDS SS 620).
- Monitor quality indicators, manage deviations, CAPA, risk assessments, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct internal audits, support external audits, and ensure organisational compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
- Manage document control, change control, quality records, and reporting to maintain system integrity and traceability.
- Support supplier/vendor qualification, regional quality initiatives, and cross-functional quality improvement projects.
- Recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions in partnership with the QA Manager to strengthen compliance and achieve successful audit outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Management, Biological Sciences, Medical Sciences, or a related discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of Quality Assurance experience, preferably in the life sciences, biotechnology, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), quality assurance principles, and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with accreditation standards such as AABB, FACT, GDP, MDS SS 620, or equivalent is an advantage.
