Quality Assurance Human Services Consultant Jobs in United States at The State of Kansas

Location: Hybrid mostly remote but occasional in-office work is required

CEDA (Community and Economic Development Association) is a mission-driven nonprofit working to fight poverty and empower communities. We’re looking for a Quality Assurance & Training Specialist to join our Energy Services Department and ensure that our programs uphold the highest standards of quality and compliance.

What You’ll Do:

Audit Program Compliance: Review and ensure that program activities and case files meet all regulatory requirements.
Monitor and Identify Risks: Work with the QA team to identify potential program risks and compliance vulnerabilities.
Create and Improve Training: Help develop and deliver training materials that keep staff aligned with policies, procedures, and best practices.
Prepare Audit Reports: Document findings, highlight programmatic issues, and make recommendations for improvements.
Travel to Sites: Occasionally travel to CEDA sites for program monitoring and support.

What We’re Looking For:

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in audit, compliance, or quality assurance (nonprofit or social services experience preferred).
Skills: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook).
Traits: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling sensitive information.
