Role Description The Quality Assurance Inspector is a full-time role based in Williamsville, NY. This role is responsible for performing inspections of printed materials and secure products to verify conformance with specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Daily tasks include conducting visual and dimensional inspections, documenting inspection results, identifying nonconformities, and collaborating with production teams to resolve issues. The inspector will follow established quality procedures, support internal audits, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. The role also involves maintaining detailed records, using measurement tools and inspection equipment, and communicating findings clearly to supervisors and cross-functional partners.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in quality disciplines, including Quality Control and Quality Assurance, to monitor and ensure product conformity and process reliability.
- Experience with Quality Management practices to support implementation of standards, procedures, and continuous improvement activities.
- Hands-on skills in Inspection methods to evaluate materials, components, and finished goods using appropriate tools and documentation.
- Knowledge of Quality Auditing principles to assist with internal audits, compliance checks, and corrective action follow-up.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and data entry for recording inspection results.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a production environment.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, printing, or secure product environments is beneficial.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or quality-related training or certifications are a plus.
