Responsibilities
The Quality Control Technician performs assessments, audits, documentation & organizational tasks to support and develop the efficiency & effectiveness of Unirac’s manufacturing process and supply chain. Quality Control Inspector will:
Inspect inbound and outbound materials for quality, dimensional attributes & quantity
Release material within the ERP system from Quality to Inventory
Inspection of in-process materials fabricated, assembled and packed at Unirac
Identify nonconforming material and help remove from production floor
Provide fulfillment verification (Shadow) pick & packed orders and documentation in the Shipping Department.
Validate pallet count and Packing Lists for dedicated vans and flatbeds
Support Operations Departments as required
Aid in researching customer complaints
Provides data for KPIs and other metrics
Skills
Detail orientated
Good communication skills
Flexibility and willingness to learn
Work as a team as well as independently
Operation of basic hand tools such as, but not limited to calipers, tape measure & micrometers
Ability to follow processes and prioritize
Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices and 6S
Experience in related industry for Quality
Knowledge of Unirac products is a plus
Requirements
HS or GED Diploma
Basic math knowledge
Basic computer skills: Microsoft Office
Basic understanding of ERP systems
Forklift training/ certified is a plus
