About the job
As Quality Assurance Inspector for Apparel at TÜV Rheinland Vietnam, you’ll be on the frontlines of quality assurance—protecting consumer trust and supporting global brands. Your role ensures that every garment inspected meets exacting standards for safety, quality, and workmanship. Working independently on-site at factories and suppliers, you’ll blend technical precision with real-world decision-making. This is a role for someone who thrives on detail, takes pride in doing things right, and sees quality as more than just a checklist—it’s a commitment.
What you’ll do:
Inspect garment and textile products (inline, final, and container loading) to ensure they meet client and international standards
Handle a diverse range of consumer products—shoes, bags, accessories—beyond garments
Study product specs and technical documentation thoroughly before each inspection
Collect representative samples when required and flag deviations immediately
Adhere strictly to customer protocols and TÜV Rheinland procedures (SOPs)
Prepare and submit clear, timely reports that reflect findings with objectivity and accuracy
What we’re looking for:
Degree in Garment Technology, Textile Engineering, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in garment inspection or quality assurance
Strong working knowledge of AQL standards and defect classifications
High attention to detail and ability to detect quality issues quickly
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; can manage reports and communicate via email professionally
Able to read and understand technical specs in English
