Summary

We are looking for a responsible Quality Assurance Inspector(Weekend Shift) to ensure our products meet industry standards assessing conformity with design specifications and improving product quality and reliability; as well as assist in overseeing QA of assigned production area and will contribute with identifying personnel for cross‑training and coaching (when required) while looking for improvements to ensure assigned area meet quality standard and schedules.

This role is ultimately responsible for guaranteeing the quality of our products and services. The day‑to‑day work involves careful inspections and the enforcement of quality standards. The successful incumbent is action‑driven, detail‑oriented with a keen ability to analyze the cause of effect, interest in translating numerical data into relevant opportunities for operation improvements.

The ideal candidate will possess a trained eye for detail and will be reliable and committed. In‑depth knowledge and comprehension of quality standards is essential.

The goal is to ensure that our products are made of flawless materials with well‑functioning equipment. That way our customers will enjoy high‑quality merchandise so that we can achieve long‑term success.

Responsibilities

  • Strong Knowledge of PCB Assemblies.
  • Responsible for all in‑coming, in‑process, final inspection, and ongoing audits.
  • Monitor parts from production area and report issues or concerns.
  • Inspection of digital boards from the Engineering Specification.
  • Focus on details and strictly follow the inspection criteria and restrictions to ensure products are free from defects (in terms of appearance, structure, safety, functionality, and final packaging).
  • Work closely with the Supervisor to keep the production excellent in both quality and quantity.
  • Diagnose and analyze the causes of defects while effectively communicating with the Supervisor and team to determine whether the products need to be restored (reworked).
  • Inspect samples from production of products by using instruments or visually to complete quality reports.
  • Ensure product quality and assist Supervisor to set quality improvements.
  • Ensure that proper methods and procedures are being used and that quality, safety, and environmental standards are being met.
  • Communicate to Supervisor of all concerns necessary to ensure production schedules are maintained (includes other departmental support: material, engineering, etc.).
  • Contribute to streamlining operations to existing and new product lines.
  • Initiate or bring forward need for QA production procedures and improve processes or recommend improvements to the production area.
  • Actively participate in daily production meetings by providing area or product status, detailing work‑in‑progress activity and related matters.
  • Ensure compliance to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain a clean, healthy and safe work environment.
  • Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with manufacturing staff to promote positive employee relations.
  • Read blueprints and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product and supplies. Approve or reject raw materials with respect to quality standards and record supplier performance.
  • Select output samples and check them using appropriate methods (measuring dimensions, testing functionality, comparing to specifications, etc.).
  • Use automated systems to perform complex testing procedures. Maintain records of testing, information and various metrics such as number of defective products per day, etc.
  • Inspect procedures of the entire production cycle to ensure they are efficient and comply with safety standards.
  • Complete inspection and test reports. Work collaboratively with other team members and leadership.
