About The Role
As a Quality Assurance Intern, you will support the QA team in ensuring the reliability, functionality, and quality of our software products. Working alongside experienced QA engineers, you will gain practical exposure to the full testing lifecycle — from writing test cases to executing tests and documenting results. This internship is an excellent opportunity to develop foundational QA skills in a real-world software environment with hands-on mentorship and structured learning.
Management
Responsibilities
- Assist in writing, organizing, and executing manual test cases for new and existing features
- Document and report software defects clearly, including steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual results, and severity
- Participate in functional, regression, and exploratory testing across assigned projects
- Help maintain and update test case documentation as features evolve
- Verify bug fixes by re-testing resolved defects and confirming expected behavior
- Collaborate with QA engineers, developers, and product managers to understand feature requirements
- Attend agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Assist in reviewing test results and compiling basic QA reports
- Communicate testing progress, blockers, and findings clearly to the team
- Continuously learn QA methodologies, tools, and best practices throughout the internship
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts and the software development lifecycle
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical, analytical approach to problem-solving
- Ability to clearly document findings and communicate them to both technical and non-technical team members
- Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and take feedback constructively
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks across projects
Preferred Skills
- Coursework or personal exposure to software testing or QA principles
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Azure Devops, or similar
- Basic understanding of web technologies — HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Any exposure to automated testing tools or frameworks
- Familiarity with agile or scrum workflow
