We are currently looking for a Lead Quality Inspector to join our team. This position will play a pivotal role in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards and customer specifications while leading and training our quality department staff.

Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Quality Manager, the Lead Quality Inspector is responsible for overseeing materials in-process and finished products, ensuring conformance to ISO standards and customer specifications. The ideal candidate must have at least 7 years of quality and inspection experience and a minimum of Experience in Coordinate measuring machine programming experience in a contract machining environment. You will work closely with the team to meet quality goals, reduce scrap/rework, and contribute to process improvements and efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement quality and inspection plans based on design drawings, ensuring adherence to ISO 9001-2008 and ISO 13485 standards.
Lead, train, and supervise quality department staff to meet department and company goals.
Program and operate CMMs and portable arms to specifications.
Interpret blueprints, including GD&T, to determine gauge and fixture requirements.
Perform inspections of first pieces, in-process materials, and finished products, ensuring conformance to customer specifications.
Conduct tests on finished products for paint, plating, dimensions, profile, and appearance.
Complete inspection records, reports, damage reports, and re-work orders.
Analyze quality data, identify issues, and recommend process improvements.
Perform process capability studies and recommend changes for quality enhancement.
Ensure compliance with ISO quality systems and internal audits.
Identify corrective and preventative actions and lead cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
Implement cost-saving initiatives and contribute to lean operations.
Work with various internal and external stakeholders, maintaining a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
Qualifications:
