Quality Assurance (QA) Lead – Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM)

Seeking an experienced QA Lead with a strong background in CIAM to design, implement, and maintain testing strategies ensuring the accuracy, performance, and security of IAM systems and integrations. Experience with Okta or similar CIAM platforms is highly desirable.

Lead QA strategy and execution for CIAM initiatives.

Develop and maintain test plans and cases for CIAM systems, including provisioning, de-provisioning, access reviews, SSO, and MFA.

Collaborate with CIAM engineers, developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand system requirements and ensure quality across CIAM workflows.

Oversee test environments and coordinate test data creation for functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.

Identify, document, and track defects; work with development teams for timely resolution.

Ensure compliance with security and access governance policies through rigorous testing and validation.

Lead and mentor a team of QA analysts or testers, providing guidance and support on QA best practices.

Report QA metrics and status to project stakeholders and leadership.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.

10+ years of experience in quality assurance, including 2+ years in a lead role.

Strong understanding of IAM concepts, processes, and systems.

Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test automation, and tools (e.g., QTest, Selenium, Postman, JIRA, TestRail).

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to Have:

Hands-on experience with Okta, including testing SSO integrations, lifecycle management, and API-based workflows.

Knowledge of security standards and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, SOX, ISO 27001).

​Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
