Job Title: QA Automation Lead
Location: Irvine, CA (4 days onsite/week)

Job Description
Seeking a Senior QA Automation Lead with 12–15 years of experience, strong in building automation frameworks and driving end-to-end QA strategy. The role requires a hands-on leader with expertise in UI, API automation, CI/CD, and client-facing delivery across distributed teams.
Job Description
- Lead design and implementation of automation frameworks using Selenium (mandatory) and Playwright
- Strong proficiency in Java (must), Python and JavaScript is a plus
- Build and execute API/Web service automation using Rest Assured
- Drive end-to-end QA strategy covering UI, API, and backend validation
- Ensure strong hands-on contribution in automation development, not just team management
- Demonstrate strong technical depth and logical thinking ability for problem-solving and solution design
- Define and implement test strategy, roadmap, and quality engineering best practices
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and maintenance
- Work closely with DevOps teams for seamless automation execution
- Lead QA initiatives and process improvements across releases/programs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Dev, Product, Business) for quality delivery
- Handle client communication, expectations, and reporting independently
- Manage and mentor QA teams while ensuring technical excellence and ownership
- Work effectively with distributed teams across multiple time zones
- Ensure strong database validation (SQL) and backend data integrity
- Support testing in AWS/cloud environments
- Retirements domain knowledge is a plus
