We are looking for a QA Lead to take full ownership of quality assurance across a complex, multi-team software build. This isn't just about finding bugs; it's about establishing the high-reliability standards required for a world-class trading and analytics platform. As we move toward launch, the QA Lead will be instrumental in ensuring our platform meets rigorous performance and stability benchmarks. This role is designed for a leader who thrives in a Linux-first environment and is comfortable with the high-stakes pressure of a rapid build. For the right candidate, this position offers a clear trajectory into Operational Leadership or Support Lead roles as the platform transitions to a global steady-state.
1. Responsibilities
• Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the comprehensive QA strategy and master test plan across all platform layers (Frontend, Backend, and Infrastructure).
• Team Coordination: Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, coordinating testing efforts across multiple parallel build cohorts to ensure zero-gap coverage.
• Full-Cycle Testing: Oversee and execute functional, integration, and regression testing throughout the rapid development lifecycle.
• Defect Management: Architect the bug-tracking workflow; identify, document, and prioritize defects to resolution in collaboration with engineering leads.
• Process Excellence: Drive continuous process improvements to shorten release cycles while increasing overall build quality and deployment confidence.
• Operational Transition: Prepare the platform for go-live, with the opportunity to transition into a long-term Support or Operations Lead role.
2.Requirements
• QA Leadership: Proven track record leading QA efforts for complex, distributed technology builds, ideally within high-velocity environments.
• Methodology: Hands-on expertise in writing and executing sophisticated test plans and test cases for API-driven architectures.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of integration testing and how to validate data integrity across microservices.
• Communication: Strong English communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to lead meetings and coordinate across international time zones.
• Operational Mindset: Thrives in a high-pressure build environment with tight timelines. Mandatory availability for the 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM ICT overlap window for collaboration with the London headquarters.
• Tools: Expert-level familiarity with bug-tracking and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Linear, or equivalent).
• Appreciated: Linux & Cloud – Professional familiarity with Linux-based systems and cloud-native environments (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Appreciated: Automation – Experience implementing automated testing frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Pytest, etc.) to enhance CI/CD pipelines.
• Appreciated: Stress Testing – Exposure to performance, soak, or load testing for high-throughput systems.
