Russell Taylor Group is working with one of the UKs leading technology manufacturing companies. This is a fantastic position for join company who are constantly looking to innovate; the role will involve working closely with the Head of Operations (HOO) overseeing all quality aspects & acting as the go to’ person for quality related enquiries. The role will see rapid progression, through the development of the QA teams and QMS.
The Role:
• Lead/mentor a small QA team to ensure the delivery of high-quality products working alongside the HOO who will provide management support.
• Develop, implement, and maintain
quality assurance
processes and procedures
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (internal). (ISO 9001 QMS).
• Collaborate with
cross-functional teams
to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Provide training and support to team members on
quality assurance
best practices.
• Monitor and report on key quality metrics and performance indicators.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to
quality assurance
activities.
• Drive
continuous improvement
initiatives to enhance product quality and
customer satisfaction
.
The Person
:
• Heavily experienced in a quality role within a manufacturing setting
• The ideal Candidate will have deputised, lead, trained/ mentored teams previously
• Experienced in working cross- functionally with production (and similar) teams, offering support/ guidance on best practice & ensuring conformance to QMS
• The ideal Candidate will have additional qualifications in lean practices (six sigma etc)
• The ideal Candidate will have additional qualifications in quality management (lead auditor ((ISO)) etc)
• Good report writing skills
