Position: Walters Group Quality Assurance Leadership
Lead quality initiatives at Walters Group as the Quality Assurance Manager in Hamilton, ON.
Your role will emphasize quality control and process improvement within the team.
Reporting to the Director of Quality Assurance, you’ll be responsible for adhering to and improving the Walters Quality System. You’ll conduct audits, address quality deficiencies, and collaborate across departments for successful project outcomes. Your analytical skills will be vital in managing non-conformance reports and implementing standard operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Audit and enhance the Quality System regularly
• Develop and implement quality control plans for steel
• Collaborate with departments to resolve issues promptly
• Manage corrective actions and root cause analyses
• Promote a work environment that values integrity and teamwork
Requirements:
• Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
• P. Eng designation or plan to obtain within 2 years
• Leadership experience in a small team
• 10+ years in the Structural Steel sector
• Strong background in Quality Management systems
