Quality
Write and update inspection procedures, work instructions, and checklists, as applicable.
Participate in the definition of test requirements, justification of acceptance limits, and sampling plans to assure compliance with requirements.
Provide direction in implementing inspection activities (e.g., receiving, first article, in-process, and final inspection).
Address nonconformities (process and product).
Investigate problems, determine root cause(s), gather and analyze data, and implement corrective action(s) to eliminate causes and their recurrence.
Review raw material and outside process certificates to ensure conformance to applicable purchase order specifications.
Review shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
Review and approve certificates of conformance.
Prepare and discuss the scrap report with impacted personnel.
Review regular inspection data and prepare statistical and operational performance reports.
Use charts and statistics to analyze results and prepare reports to present findings.
Monitor adherence to quality standards in the development and implementation of processes.
Facilitate continuous improvement through training and communication of quality initiatives.
Assist in audits and reviews of projects and suppliers.
Evaluate and review products and processes and provide status reporting to Quality Department Head.
Review, categorize, quantify, and analyze the NCR Log to detect trends and identify the possible need for corrective and preventive actions.
Record, coordinate with relevant employee(s) and ensure that actions are taken to resolve identified nonconformances.
Assist in the management of quality management system and its related activities.
Perform other duties as may be requested by the Department Head and/or top management.
Planning:
Assist in planning and estimating activities.
Oversee the quality of the planning output.
Review and approve planned jobs.
Review customer purchase orders and associated documents for technical requirements.
Coordinate changes to fixed processes internally and obtain customer approval, as applicable.
DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality, or Manufacturing, preferred.
Minimum of a High School diploma or GED required.
Some college coursework from an accredited institution is desirable.
Two to five (2-5) years of experience in a related field of expertise preferably in the Aerospace Manufacturing industry.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
