We’re leading an exclusive search with a manufacturer in the NW Ohio Area seeking a Quality Manager. Our client is a global leader in mobile industrial safety equipment, with a presence in multiple countries and continents, a true leader in the space. You will lead their efforts in making the highest quality and safest products in the world in their space.
The opening is due to an internal promotion/transfer and we’re seeking someone immediately.
What You’ll Do:
Lead Quality Management Systems:
Oversee and maintain ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
Implement Quality Control Processes:
Develop and enforce quality control procedures to ensure product consistency and reliability.
Conduct Audits and Inspections:
Regularly perform internal audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Collaborate Across Departments:
Work closely with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to integrate quality objectives into all operational processes.
Drive Continuous Improvement:
Analyze quality metrics and feedback to implement continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
Who You Are:
Experienced Quality Professional:
Possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field, with 5+ years in a quality management role within manufacturing.
ISO Standards Expert:
Demonstrated experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards; ISO 45001 knowledge is a plus.
Analytical Thinker:
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data and implement effective solutions.
Effective Communicator:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to lead teams and collaborate with various departments.
Detail-Oriented Leader:
Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and fostering a culture of excellence.
