This exciting opportunity is based at our Bourke goat meat processing plant, located on the iconic Darling River in Northwest NSW. You’ll be part of a diverse, high‑performing team that lives our values, works with purpose, and is empowered to achieve big things at pace.
As our QA Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring both company and customer satisfaction by upholding the highest standards of food hygiene, product quality, and compliance. This is a hands‑on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and takes pride in delivering excellence.

The Quality Ingredients for Success
To excel in this role, you’ll bring the right blend of technical expertise, leadership capability, and commitment to quality. Key responsibilities include:
- Operating Efficiencies — Achieve agreed operational performance targets.
- Quality & Licensing Standards — Ensure compliance with company and AQIS licensing requirements.
- Workplace Health & Safety — Maintain & promote safe work practices.
- Team Supervision & Training — Lead, mentor & train QA & production staff.
- Integrated Management System — Implement & maintain the IMS across the site.
- Hygiene & Sanitation — Oversee production hygiene & sanitation compliance.
- Process Monitoring — Ensure processes meet regulatory & customer requirements.
- Product Conformance — Compliance with AUS‑MEAT & customer specifications.
- AQIS Compliance — Ensure all AQIS requirements are met & maintained.
- TFIB Standards — Uphold TFIB Quality Systems, HACCP, GMP, IMS, Environmental Management, & training programs.
Experience & Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- Experience in the meat or food processing industry
- Knowledge of AUS‑MEAT specification standards
- Certificate III in Meat Processing or equivalent
- Understanding of the Meat Hygiene Assessment framework
