We’re partnering with a well-established, privately held food manufacturing company to help them find their next Quality Assurance Manager. What You’ll Lead and Deliver:
Food Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Lead the implementation and management of HACCP plans, ensure compliance with FSIS regulations, and maintain robust training programs for food safety practices.
Audit & Customer Relations: Oversee third-party audits (SQF, BRC, customer-specific), ensuring CAPA actions are in place and maintaining strong customer relationships.Continuous Improvement:
Strive for continuous improvement in food safety processes, product quality, and operational reliability.
Team Leadership: Manage a skilled team of QA professionals and sanitation staff, fostering growth, teamwork, and accountability.
Collaboration: Work closely with production, operations, and supply chain teams to optimize quality standards and ensure product excellence.
Regulatory Reporting: Serve as the face of the company for regulatory bodies such as USDA and manage all reporting and non-compliance responses.
You’ll Thrive Here If You…
Have 5+ years of experience in food safety and quality assuranceleadership, particularly within meat processing or food manufacturing.
Are an expert in HACCP, SQF, and BRC standards with experience in conducting and managing audits.
Possess strong regulatory knowledge, especially USDA compliance, and are comfortable acting as the main point of contact with regulatory agencies.
Have experience managing quality and safety programs and leading continuous improvement initiatives. Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Are passionate about food safety, process improvements, and building strong teams that can thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
