Requirements
Ensure adherence to regulatory, customer, and company quality system requirements
Direct Laboratory Managers and Quality Department personnel, and manage investigations of Out of Specification results.
Serve as the primary quality contact for new and existing customers to ensure products meet established standards
Communicate quality system status to production management, conduct routine audits, and maintain Master Product Records
Develop and implement policies and procedures, submit required reports, and handle special projects as directed by senior management
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree is required with a strong emphasis in biology, chemistry, physics, geology or environmental science.
Management / Supervisory experience in a regulated environment
Experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control
Able to travel to nearby plants.
Prior experience working within a cGMP compliant Quality Management System
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business information, journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
