Director of Quality at DuBose National Energy Services (DNES)
Nuclear manufacturing company has an opportunity for a Quality Assurance Manager. Candidate must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple ongoing items at one time. Position reports to the Director of Quality and works with the QA Manager – Fabrication.
This position will provide day-to-day oversight of personnel within the QA department while constantly observing for process improvement opportunities. The successful candidate will be assigned customer purchase orders for processing in addition to management responsibilities.
Must have a strong attention to detail, ability to support emergent needs, and realign focus based on changes in priorities.
This position is full-time within the DNES office in Clinton, NC. This is not a remote position, though some limited work-from-home opportunities are available.
Responsibilities include:
Management and oversight of approximately 15 personnel, including Quality Assurance Representatives and Quality Control personnel.
Ability to communicate with customers and suppliers regarding quality requirements and to resolve issues.
Possess strong time management skills.
Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Have the ability to multi-task and complete daily, weekly, monthly, and as-needed assignments on time.
Be able and willing to ask questions when unsure.

Associates Degree or higher in a science field, or equivalent work experience.
Experience with military specifications.
Experience in military supply (e.g. EB2678 and MIL-I-45208), and/or steel applications such as supply of raw steel, piping, and/or fasteners.
Audit experience (internal or external).
Qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor, preferred.
