Summary
Ensures ISO compliance and handles day to day quality issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Ensures production compliance with applicable requirements during processing
· Authority to identify holds, rejects, release and reapply nonconforming material.
· Authority to handle customer complaints and claims
· Authority to enforce set establish quality parameters
· Promote positive customer relations
· Maintains calibration log
· Manage daily in house testing
· Assist in maintaining WIP material
· Knowledge and understanding of current ISO 9000 standard
Qualifications
· Strong analytical ability
· Detailed oriented
· Multitasking & focused
· Personable and adept at dealing with customers
· Strong knowledge of steel and galvanizing (defects)
· Physical and mechanical testing background Strong attention to detail
· Upholds strict quality standards
Education/Experience
· 2-3 years manufacturing quality experience or related education
