Quality Assurance Manager Jobs in Midrand, South Africa at Pro Tem
Key responsibilities:
• Develop and implement
quality assurance
policies and procedures.
• Ensure our products and development processes meet the highest standard of quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with our suppliers production team to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Visit supplier sites and assist operations by tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels as well as CSR, environmental, and health and safety performance
• Identify and troubleshoot quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, errors and corrective actions.
• Analyse quality data and generate reports for management.
• Ensure that manufacturing processes comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Train warehouse staff on
quality control
procedures and best practices.
• Implementing appropriate Financial Controls to ensure that spend is appropriately managed and cost saving initiatives identified and initiated where appropriate.
• Conduct inspections on products received.
• Develop or update procedures for capture, investigation, and documentation of product complaints
Education and experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 + years’ experience.
• Strong knowledge of
quality assurance
methodologies and tools.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Excellent
problem-solving

• A

approach and a keen eye for detail.
• Strong
communication
and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in
quality assurance
software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working under pressure and deadline driven.
• Ability to multi-task across many brands.
