Responsibilities:

1. As a highly skilled and motivated Senior Quality Assurance Manager (QAM) with more than 5 year experience as QAM, you will be a key member of our new Quality Assurance Office (QAO)

You will be responsible for designing and coaching on QA vision, strategy, processes, and best practices, to support projects/teams on QA approach and required QA estimations, to create, maintain and provide training.

You will be part of the QAO team, with 2 technical QA architects who will support both you and the projects/teams on the technical, more developer oriented QA aspects.

For new projects or large new business features, you and a technical QA architect will support the project team in defining the best fit QA approach and help the project lead in estimating the required QA effort.

You strongly aim to create a culture of quality across all teams including ICT management.

As QAM you are also project lead for the implementation of the QA change roadmap that has been recently defined. As the project lead you:

Take up part of the roadmap implementation

Follow-up teams and QAO members in the implementation of the roadmap items

Follow-up on budget

Report on progress and budget on steerco with ICT management

Align with other change initiatives

Apply good change management skills to lower resistance

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate is a Quality Assurance Manager with

Comprehensive understanding of both manual and automated testing methodologies

Demonstrated ability to managing quality assurance, coach and lead in complex software development

environments

Knowledge of .NET, SQL and Angular

API testings

Application

Deep understanding of the agile software process and modern software QA practices

Proven experience in test planning and follow-up

Proven experience in project management

Strong in stakeholder management

Strong change management skills

Ability to communicate about QA improvement initiatives and adapt the message depending on the type of stakeholders (ICT mgmt., Business, IT Teams)

Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with a collaborative and proactive mindset

Ability to learn complex business models

Exposure to environments with stringent timelines, complex interdependencies, and diverse technical stacks

Ability to communicate in as well Dutch and French. Fluent in one of them and in English (spoken and written)

Informatics degree and proven specialization as QAM

Practical

This is a half-time position. 3d/w – 2d/w alternating. 1 day/week homework

Default onsite on Tuesday and/or Thursday
