Are you looking to lead quality systems within a growing advanced manufacturing environment focused on precision-engineered products? This opportunity for a Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization's Quality Management System, leading continuous improvement initiatives, supporting customer quality requirements, and ensuring compliance with ISO standards. This role is ideal for an experienced quality professional with a strong manufacturing background who enjoys driving process improvements, leading audits, and partnering cross-functionally to improve product quality and operational performance.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the organization's Quality Management Representative and lead the Quality Management System.
- Maintain ISO quality systems, procedures, documentation, and standard operating procedures.
- Lead internal audit programs and support customer and external audits.
- Coordinate corrective and preventive actions while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage customer quality concerns, complaints, recalls, and feedback resolution.
- Partner with manufacturing and engineering teams to improve processes and product quality.
- Support design reviews, risk management, validation, qualification, and manufacturing transfers.
- Develop and maintain quality standards for new and existing products.
- Implement statistical quality tools, inspection methods, sampling plans, and process controls.
- Prepare quality metrics and reports to measure system effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
- Lead and mentor quality technicians while supporting departmental development.
- Collaborate across production, engineering, and operations to improve quality performance and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 3+ years of experience working within an ISO-compliant manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience supervising or managing quality personnel.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Experience leading process improvement initiatives and corrective action programs.
- Experience supporting manufacturing quality systems and continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with MRP systems.
- Working knowledge of SPC, SQC, FMEA, DOE, process flow mapping, and risk analysis.
- Excellent organizational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard computer applications.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
