Role Description

  • Develop and implement quality assurance standards and procedures throughout the production process (from yarn to final sweater).
  • Monitor and manage in-line, end-line, and final inspections to ensure adherence to customer specifications.
  • Lead and train the QA team, including supervisors, inspectors, and auditors, to maintain consistent quality across all operations.
  • Analyze defects and coordinate with production teams for corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Ensure compliance with buyer requirements and international quality standards (AQL, ISO, etc.).
  • Prepare QA reports and documentation for internal audits, buyer audits, and factory evaluations.
  • Maintain coordination with merchandising, production, and technical teams for sampling and bulk production quality.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints related to quality issues.
  • Conduct risk assessments and advise on process improvements to enhance product quality and reduce rework or rejection.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Apparel/Garment/Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in QA within a sweater or knitwear manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of garment construction, knitting techniques, yarn types, and finishing processes.
  • Familiarity with quality standards such as AQL, ISO 9001,WRAP….
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and reporting tools.
  • Good at English
