What You’ll Do:
- Lead and maintain the company’s quality assurance program to ensure product quality and compliance with internal and external standards
- Will lead the company's Quality Management System, while continuing to develop the existing QA/Lab team
- Reports directly to senior leadership while relieving the current shared responsibilities between Operations and R&D.
- Oversee laboratory testing activities, R&D support, equipment calibration, and quality control processes
- Conduct facility and production inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and operating procedures
- Manage ISO compliance activities including audits, documentation control, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Investigate material, component, product, and process quality issues while implementing root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Partner with production, engineering, procurement, and leadership teams to resolve quality concerns and prevent recurrence
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered
- 5+ years of quality assurance experience within manufacturing, chemical, consumer products, or related industries
- Take ownership of an already mature Quality Management System and providing long-term leadership, mentorship, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will assume full responsibility for the quality program, mentor future leaders, and become a long-term resource for the organization
- Experience managing ISO quality systems, audit preparation, and regulatory compliance initiatives
- Strong Quality Management leadership experience in manufacturing
- Experience managing mature ISO quality systems rather than creating new ones
- Hands-on ownership of ISO 9001; ISO 14001 experience is a significant advantage
- Ability to independently lead the entire quality function
- Proven experience mentoring and developing employees
- Experience supporting quality programs, audits, CAPA, continuous improvement, and regulatory compliance
- Safety experience is considered a bonus but not required
- Strong knowledge of laboratory testing methods, quality control principles, and product validation processes
- Proven ability to lead investigations, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Previous supervisory, leadership, or team lead experience within a laboratory or manufacturing environment
- Experience supporting R&D testing, product development, Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives preferred
