Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing.
Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar .
Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to define test strategies and test cases.
Perform regression, performance, and load testing to ensure software reliability.
Implement CI/CD integration with testing tools in Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps .
Identify, report, and track defects using JIRA, TestRail, or similar tools.
Conduct code reviews and optimize automation scripts for better efficiency.
Stay updated with the latest automation tools, trends, and best practices.
Requirements:
X+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation.
Strong knowledge of Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium .
Experience in API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or Karate .
Proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript, or C# for writing test scripts.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD .
Knowledge of test management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or qTest .
Experience in database testing using SQL .
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have):
Experience with performance testing (JMeter, Gatling, or k6).
Cloud-based testing experience (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Security testing knowledge.
Experience in containerized environments like Docker/Kubernetes .
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
