JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting into the VP, Operations, the Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes within the production facility. This role ensures that all products meet the company’s quality standards and customer specifications. The Quality Manager will lead the quality team, implement quality management systems & processes, and continuously strive for improvements in product quality and process efficiency.
JOB KNOWLEDGE:
Experience
Minimum 5 years experience in a Quality Management role within printing and manufacturing
Strong knowledge of quality management systems and ISO standards
Skills
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Proficient in quality assurance tools and methodologies
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Adhere to Health and Safety Policy and to report all unsafe and unhealthy work conditions
To produce quality work effectively and efficiently.
Adhere to the AIIM Security Policy and report any and all violations to the Security Policy.
Quality Management Systems
Develop, implement and maintain quality management systems (QMS) in accordance with industry standards
Ensure compliance with ISO certifications and other relevant quality standards
Inspection and Testing
Oversee the inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods
Implement and monitor quality control procedures and policies
Process Improvement
Identify areas for improvement in the production process and implement corrective actions
Conduct root cause analysis for any quality issues and develop strategies to prevent recurrence
Training and Development
Train and develop the quality assurance team on quality standards, procedures and best practices
Conduct regular training sessions for production staff to ensure adherence to quality protocols
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain accurate records of quality tests, inspections and corrective actions
Prepare and present regular quality reports to management
Customer Relations
Work closely with customers to understand their quality requirements and address any quality-related concerns
Manae customer complaints and ensure timely resolution
Compliance
Ensure all products comply with industry regulations and customer specifications
Stay updated with changes in industry standards and regulations
