Coke Florida is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager based out of our Jacksonville location. We’re currently looking for Monday-Friday 7:00am start time until finish with occasional nights/weekends as needed for the business.
What You Will Do
As a Quality Assurance Manager at Coke Florida, you will be responsible for the execution of Quality Assurance functions in the manufacturing facility and manage the activities of the Quality Assurance department, collaborating with Production and other departments.
Roles And Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Quality Assurance Department to ensure the production of high-quality products at the lowest cost, meeting customer demands.
Select, supervise, and develop Quality Assurance personnel.
Ensure accuracy and efficiency of water processing, syrup batching, QA testing, and record keeping.
Monitor and enforce GMP, sanitation, and housekeeping procedures.
Oversee Coca Cola, Federal, and State communications/audits and implement necessary changes.
Assist operations management with troubleshooting and innovation of process equipment and products.
Collaborate with other departments to implement procedures and improve quality performance.
Demonstrate solid knowledge of SPC.
Implement changes related to new or modified products and packaging in collaboration with departments.
Ensure proper operation and maintenance of water treatment plant.
Ensure timely communication and action.
Maintain safety standards for all personnel within the department.
Implement, monitor, and improve the QHSE management system.
Establish, submit, and manage the departmental budget.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Lead projects as required.
For This Role, You Will Need
High School Diploma or GED.
College degree in Applied Sciences or Business preferred.
Knowledge and experience in Food Safety & Quality Assurance.
4+ years supervisory or management experience in a related industry.
4+ years supervisory or management experience in the beverage industry preferred.
Ability to work in hot, cold, wet environments with loud machinery, fumes, and moving vehicles.
