LHH is actively seeking a Manager of Quality for a manufacturing company located in the Elk Grove Village area. This role is responsible for verifying raw material quality as well as finished product quality and will be leading a team of technicians. This is an ONSITE opportunity.
The primary responsibilities for this role include
Create and implement testing procedures, quality standards, and required documentation
Work interdepartmentally to ensure finished goods meet customer standards and specifications
Problem solve and root cause analysis of rejections
Leading a team, including hiring, scheduling, performance management, and training and development
Lead internal audits
Prepare departmental reports for upper management
Work interdepartmentally on new product development
Additional duties as needed
The ideal candidate profile will have the following qualifications
5+ years of Quality experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Highly analytical
Experience leading a team
High attention to detail
Automotive experience preferred
Bilingual Spanish
