The Libman Company (www.libman.com) is a 4th-generation, family-owned consumer products manufacturer of cleaning tools (brooms, mops, brushes) and other cleaning products (sponges, chemicals etc). The vast majority of our products are manufactured in our state of the art 1.8 million square foot facility located in Arcola, IL. We have a strong brand and distribution nationally in the retail and commercial markets. Libman is a major market leader in the USA and also has an international presence in over 15 other countries. We own a major cleaning tools company in Australia, called Sabco, and in the UK, called Dishmatic. We are actively looking to continue our growth.

**Located in Arcola, IL-Onsite is Required; this is a consumer goods manufacturing/production and warehousing environment**

Summary/Objective:

This position is responsible for establishing a quality system for manufacturing production of consumer goods and team that promotes customer enthusiasm and that positively impacts the performance of the company. This position plays a key role in the design, production and continuous improvement of all products.

Essential Functions:

1. Oversee effective implementation of the manufacturing Quality Management System throughout the company.

2. Serve as the primary quality control resource for problem identification, resolution, and implementation.

3. Assist a multi-department team in new product development.

4. Access risk of manufacturing new products and work with suppliers and outside resources to mitigate risk.

5. Manage a team of individuals to ensure Libman quality is upheld to the highest standard.

6. Work with suppliers to trouble shoot and correct supply chain interruptions.

7. Work with Purchasing to review and sign-off on all purchased components.

8. Sign off and establish specifications for internal produced parts.

Required Education and Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing quality.

· Problem solving certification in Shainin or Six Sigma
