Job Description
Must-Have Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in QA/Test Leadership with strong QA practice experience in supporting enterprise applications and migrations
- Deep understanding of testing processes, STLC, and QA best practices
- Proven experience designing test architectures and automation frameworks (Karate, Selenium Java, etc.)
- Strong experience in UI, API, integration, and Data Migration testing (with SQL and Stored Procedures)
- Strong experience in test planning, estimation, and execution management
- Experience with CI/CD tools and continuous testing enablement using Bamboo
- Strong defect management, RCA, and quality metrics expertise
- Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills
- Exposure to cloud-based and mobile applications testing with microservices architecture
- Familiarity with SAFe methodologies and Agile Scrum processes
- Experience integrating automation suite into DevOps CI/CD pipelines (with Bamboo)
- Experience using test management tools (JIRA, Zephyr, Confluence)
- Knowledge of GEN AI-assisted testing or test effort optimization leveraging GEN AI tools
- Strong ownership, accountability mindset, and proactive risk identification
- Strategic thinker with strong execution mindset and ability to influence architectural decisions
- Experience leading offshore/distributed QA teams with strong mentoring and coaching capabilities.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with domain-specific applications (e.g., Automotive, Leasing Business & Rental systems)
- Experience with Performance Testing using JMeter
- Prior experience supporting UAT and business stakeholders
- Collaborative, calm, and professional in high-pressure environments
Job Responsibilities
QA Strategy & Execution:
- Own and lead end-to-end QA strategy, planning, and execution for program capabilities and features
- Act as the primary QA point of contact for onsite client stakeholders
- Define and enforce testing processes, standards, and best practices
- Lead test planning, test design, execution, defect management, and reporting
- Ensure data quality validation across systems, integrations, and reports
- Drive test automation strategy and execution in alignment with CI/CD pipelines
- Coordinate with offshore QA teams to ensure delivery quality and timelines
- Provide clear test status, risk assessment, and mitigation plans to leadership
- Support release readiness, go/no-go decisions, and production validations in collaboration with client stakeholders
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency
- Leverage GEN AI tools and Co-pilot in STLC lifecycle
Test Architecture & Strategy:
- Define and own the overall test architecture aligned with business and technical architecture
- Design scalable test frameworks covering API, Data, integration layers, and GEN AI (using Karate, Selenium Java, or client-driven tools)
- Establish test automation strategy for Functional and Data, tooling standards, best practices, and BDD Framework
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing
- Define test data management strategy, including data and validation
- Identify opportunities to drive shift-left testing practices
- Standardize and repurpose test assets and reusable components.

GlobalLogic estimates the starting pay range for this role to be performed in Reading PA is 150 to 160K, and reflects base salary only. This pay range is provided as a good faith estimate and the amount offered may be higher or lower. GlobalLogic takes many factors into consideration in making an offer, including candidate qualifications, work experience, operational needs, travel and onsite requirements, internal peer equity, prevailing wage, responsibilities, and other market and business considerations.
