Title: QA Team Lead
Reports to: QA Manager
Location: InsurePay is dedicated to 100% remote work

About the role:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented QA Team Lead to drive our quality assurance initiatives and ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of InsurePay’s platforms. You will lead a small yet impactful team, working to meet department and individual KPIs, and company goals. You will work cross functionally with engineering, product, and customer success to uphold high-quality standards and enhance our software development lifecycle.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will ….

Lead and mentor a QA team, providing technical guidance and performance coaching
Ensure KPIs are being achieved, and work with QA Manager if not
Define, implement, and refine quality assurance processes, automation strategies, and testing frameworks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed quality principles throughout the software development lifecycle
Develop and maintain automated and manual test plans for functional, regression, and performance testing
Analyze test results, track defects, and drive resolution in collaboration with development teams
Continuously assess and optimize QA tools, processes, and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Assist with testing and debugging software
Set quality standards and communicate them to team members
Gather and review customer feedback to enhance software and quality assurance processes
Recommend improvements for future software products

We’re excited about you because you have ….

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of QA experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or mentorship capacity
Experience with STLC tools including Jira, Xray, Selenium, & Postman
ISTQB / ASTQB certification(s)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Understanding of quality assurance processes and standards
Technical skills and comfort with databases and report generation software
Strong critical thinking, interpersonal and communication skills
