Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven QA Manager with extensive experience in IV solutions manufacturing, focusing on Large Volume Parenterals (LVP) and Small Volume Parenterals (SVP). The successful candidate will oversee all quality assurance activities, ensure regulatory compliance, and implement robust quality systems to maintain the integrity of our products and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with local and international regulatory requirements, including WHO GMP and UAE regulations.
Lead and manage all QA operations within a sterile manufacturing environment, ensuring strict adherence to aseptic processing standards.
Oversee the release of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products.
Coordinate and supervise internal and external audits, including regulatory inspections, and ensure timely closure of observations and CAPAs.
Monitor and improve sterility assurance practices, environmental monitoring, and validation processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, QC, Regulatory Affairs, and Engineering) to ensure alignment and integration of quality objectives.
Lead investigations into deviations, complaints, and OOS (Out of Specification) results, ensuring root cause analysis and preventive measures are effectively implemented.
Conduct regular training programs for staff on quality policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
Provide strategic leadership in risk management, change control, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Prepare and submit periodic quality reports and updates to senior management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy (B Pharma or M Pharma)
A minimum of 8 years of experience in quality assurance within the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 5 years in a sterile manufacturing environment focused on IV solutions, particularly LVP and SVP.
In-depth knowledge of sterile processing, aseptic techniques, and environmental monitoring.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements from authorities such as WHO, EMA, FDA, and UAE EDE (Emirates Drug Establishment).
Proven experience in handling regulatory inspections and maintaining GMP compliance.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams and liaise with regulatory bodies.
