In this pivotal role, you’ll manage quality assurance operations and food safety programs. With over ten years in quality assurance and five in management, you will be instrumental in aligning quality objectives with production goals. As a key member of the Plant Leadership Team, you’ll also oversee SQF standards, regulatory compliance, and ensure that all plant operations meet stringent quality specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage Quality and Food Safety operations
• Act as SQF Practitioner and Preventive Controls Qualified Individual
• Conduct weekly Food Safety Inspections and corrective actions
• Develop quality objectives in coordination with plant management
• Investigate and respond to customer complaints promptly
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field
• Minimum 10 years in Quality Assurance and Food Safety
• At least 5 years in a supervisory role
• Certifications in PCQI, SQF, or HACCP
• Knowledge of FDA standards and FSMA Regulations
