Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA/QC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the required quality standards and specifications by assessing and mitigating food safety standards for a factory production facility warehouse with storage and quarantine, microbiology and chemistry laboratories. This role involves conducting inspections, performing audits, updates and documenting all compliance aspects in a timely manner. Develop nrisk management stratagies and processes. Maintain ISO22000, 2022-1, 22003-1:2022, FSSC 22000 compliance. This will also include document control while keeping up with industry regulations and quality systems.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and vision inspection systems.
Perform quality audits to ensure adherence to ISO 22000 standards and FDA regulations as well as working with other clients such as, Health Depatment, USA, Kosher.
Collect and analyze data related to product quality, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and quality control processes.
Assist in the development and implementation of quality management systems.
Record, track and file SOPs, SSOP, supplier documents, certificates of analysis and other records as necessary while insuring the latest updates are maintained.
Assist/complete incoming questionnaires, surveys and audits upon customer request.
Record, track, file production documents, manage and organize the approved supplier program
Respond to customer food safety requests.

Qualifications

Proven experience, minimum of 1 year, as a QA/QC Technician or in a similar role within a food manufacturing and/or testing with demonstratable knowledge of food quality, safety, QA/QC environment.
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent an Associates degree or Bachelors degree in food science, biology or chemistry is desirable but not required.
Strong knowledge of ISO 22000 standards and quality management principles.
Proven HACCP training a plus.
Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, and familiarity with vision inspection systems.
Experience with quality audits and data collection methodologies.
Understanding of FDA regulations related to product quality.
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability.
