Sr Associate Quality Assurance – Formulation and Filling PQA
What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role Amgen is looking for mission-driven, detail-oriented professionals to join our Quality Assurance team at the AML Formulation and Filling facility. You’ll provide QA support for operations that run 7 days a week, ensuring products meet the highest standards of compliance, safety, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide quality oversight for daily operations
Conduct product sampling and review of batch records (e.g., MPs, MSRs)
Identify and help resolve discrepancies and compliance issues
Perform product sampling and inspections
Participate in internal audits and assist with deviation life cycle and investigations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive GMP compliance
Support QA activities typically performed by Associate-level roles when needed
What we expect of you

Basic Qualifications:
Master’s
OR
Bachelor’s + 6 months of Quality Assurance work experience
Or
Associate’s + 2 years of Quality Assurance work experience
Or
High school/GED + 4 years of Quality Assurance work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Educational background in Life Sciences or Engineering
Working knowledge of GMP regulations and ability to apply them in day-to-day operations
Experience working in Aseptic Formulation and Filling
Experience with data trending, technical writing, and documentation review
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to support investigations and recommend improvements
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, databases)
Strong time management and task prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to support non-standard shifts, including weekends
