Job Summary
The
Quality Assurance
(QA) Manager for Facility Management is responsible for establishing and overseeing the QA function to ensure compliance with industry regulations, internal policies, and best practices. This role involves developing quality standards, conducting audits, and implementing
continuous improvement
initiatives across both hard and soft facility management services.
Core
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Establish and Lead the
Quality Assurance
Function Develop and implement a comprehensive QA strategy and framework for the Facility Management Department.
Define quality standards, procedures, and performance metrics to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry best practices.
Create and maintain QA documentation, including policies, procedures, and manuals.
Recruit, hire, and train a qualified QA team, ensuring expertise in facility management
quality control
.
Provide
leadership
, mentorship, and performance evaluations to foster a culture of excellence and
continuous improvement
.
2.
Quality Control
& Compliance Oversee the implementation of QA processes across all facility management operations, including:
Hard services: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other technical maintenance.
Soft services:
Housekeeping, landscaping, and related facility operations.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Establish an annual audit schedule to systematically review and assess compliance with standards and procedures.
Ensure all operations and transactions align with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
3. Performance Monitoring &
Continuous Improvement
Monitor and analyze QA metrics and performance data to identify trends and improvement areas.
Develop and implement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and service delivery.
Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in QA best practices.
Maintain detailed audit trails and documentation to support internal audits and compliance verification.
4. Reporting & Stakeholder
Communication
Prepare and present reports on QA activities, findings, and improvement initiatives to
senior management
.
Communicate quality standards and expectations to internal teams, contractors, and vendors.
Act as the primary point of contact for all QA-related matters within the Facility Management function.
Key
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering,
Quality Assurance
, or a related field.
Years of experience in
Quality Assurance
within facility management or a related industry.
Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Experience conducting audits, inspections, and compliance assessments.
Leadership
experience with the ability to build and manage a QA team.
Excellent analytical,
problem-solving
, and decision-making skills.
Strong
communication
and reporting abilities.
