We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager (GMP/GCP) to support a highly innovative biopharmaceutical company located in the Basel area. This is a 12-month contract role, offering the opportunity to contribute to the development and lifecycle management of novel therapies in a dynamic and international environment.
Your Key Responsibilities
Act as QA lead for assigned pharmaceutical development projects, ensuring all quality-related activities are executed in line with the project phase
Oversee the implementation and monitoring of compliance measures throughout the manufacturing, testing, packaging, and distribution process
Support and guide investigations related to deviations, OOS results, and complaints; define and track appropriate CAPAs
Lead the quality risk management approach within projects and promote quality culture across cross-functional teams
Collaborate with external partners (e.g., CMOs) and internal teams to manage QA documentation, batch review, change control assessments, and product release activities
Represent QA in project and CMC meetings, highlighting potential risks or regulatory concerns
Review and contribute to the development and optimization of SOPs, quality agreements, and system performance indicators
What You Bring
Master’s degree or equivalent in Pharmacy, Chemistry, or another scientific field
At least 3 years of professional experience in pharmaceutical product development, quality control, or chemical production
Minimum of 3 years in Quality Assurance with strong GMP/GDP knowledge and hands-on experience in DS/DP environments
Solid understanding of pharmaceutical processes across the product lifecycle
Strong project coordination skills and the ability to manage complex tasks under time pressure
Confident communicator, capable of navigating diverse stakeholder environments
Fluency in English is required
