AAR Testing and Inspection, Inc. is looking for Construction Inspectors for Transportation projects in Washington State. It is preferred that candidates have the following certifications:
· WSDOT Inspectors Certification (Preferred but not required)
· WAQTC (In-Place-density)
· ACI Field Testing Technician Grade 1 certification

Note: Wages for this position depend on years of experience and certifications.
Job responsibilities will depend on position, qualifications, certifications, and experience but will generally be as follows:
· Review approved construction drawings and specifications.
· Communicate and maintain a good working relationship with contractor workers and foreman, superintendent, project manager, project structural engineer and building inspectors.
· Perform construction observations and inspections continuously or periodically as required to verify conformance to approved documents.
· Write concise electronic inspection reports and submit completed reports to recipients.
· Communicate with AAR office to report inspection observations and scheduling.
Experience should include the following:
· Minimum of 1 years’ experience working on transportation projects (Airport, Transit, Highway, and Bridges)
· Experience should include earthwork, drainage, reinforced concrete, asphalt paving, and traffic control.
· MUST HAVE Availability to work nights/weekends when needed.
· Ability to work as part of a team.
· Ability to work in inclement weather.
· Ability to read structural plans and specifications.

Pay: $30.00 – $39.00 per hour (Night Shift will have an additional $4/hr added to your hourly wage)
Incentive: sign on bonuses up to $2000 may apply
