About The Role
At Prodrive Technologies, quality is a critical enabler of our business. We operate in high-demand industries such as semicon, automotive, and medical, where consistent and predictable quality performance is essential.
To strengthen our Quality Management System (QMS), we are looking for a Quality Assurance Officer who will drive effectiveness, consistency, and maturity of quality across the organization.
In this role, you act as part of the Risk & Business Assurance (R&BA) team and operate in the second line of defense. You do not execute quality activities yourself; instead, you ensure that the organization effectively applies to them. You act as an independent challenger and enabler, driving structural improvements in quality governance, standards, and performance.
Your primary focus is on the governance and maturity of core quality tools (FMEA, APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, IQ/OQ/PQ) across the product and process lifecycle. You ensure these tools are not only present but effectively applied to prevent risks, improve process capability, and support robust and compliant product development and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as organizational owner and governance authority for core quality tools (APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA, IQ/OQ/PQ), ensuring alignment with internal and external requirements
- Drive consistent and effective application of quality frameworks across business lines, product teams, and operations
- Provide independent oversight and constructive challenge on the use and effectiveness of quality tools in projects and operations
- Act as an internal auditor, assessing QMS effectiveness and driving continuous improvement
- Develop and maintain monitoring mechanisms and KPIs to track core tool maturity and QMS performance
- Enable the organization through training, coaching, and standardization, ensuring sustainable adoption of quality practices
- Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the QMS in collaboration with R&BA colleagues

What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related discipline
- 8+ years of relevant experience in quality roles, including exposure to QMS
- Strong knowledge of quality core tools (FMEA, APQP/PPAP, SPC, MSA, IQ/OQ/PQ) and their application across the product lifecycle
- Strong understanding of ISO‑based Quality Management Systems.
- Ability to challenge, influence, and act independently.
- English is mandatory and Dutch is a plus.
Preferred
- Experience in regulated or high‑complexity manufacturing environments (e.g., automotive, medical devices, electronics, industrial machines)
- Certification such as CQE, CSSBB, CQA, or Lean Six Sigma
- Experience with digital quality systems, SPC platforms, or model‑based quality approaches.
