Salary Range: RM 2,200 – RM 3,700 (Based on experience)
About the Role
We are an established Tier 2 Automotive Injection Molding manufacturer looking for a diligent and proactive QA Officer to join our Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will be the key bridge between our operations, our suppliers, and our valued customers. You will play a vital role in managing product quality, driving root-cause investigations, and maintaining our robust quality management systems.
Key Responsibilities
● Customer & Supplier Quality Management: Act as a key point of contact for customer quality issues and supplier performance management.
● Issue Investigation & 8D Reporting: Lead thorough investigations into internal and external non-conformance issues. Drive root-cause analysis and generate comprehensive 8D Reports with effective corrective actions.
● APQP & PPAP Support: Participate as an active member of the APQP team to support New Product and PPAP documentation.
● Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate smoothly with all levels of employees, customers, and suppliers to present quality data and drive resolution on quality matters.
Requirements & Qualifications
● Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Manufacturing Quality Assurance, with a specific focus on Customer Quality or Supplier Quality Engineering.
● Industry Background: Experience in the Plastic Injection Molding process is preferred but not mandatory.
● Standards Exposure: Familiar with working environment in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Exposure to IATF 16949 automotive standards is an added advantage.
● Soft Skills: Good interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to communicate and write confidently in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
● Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and data analysis. Strong analytical mind with good problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
● Education: Minimum Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline.
● Note: Prior experience as an Internal Auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or IATF 16949 is an added advantage.
