We're partnering with an established pharmaceutical manufacturer that's investing in its Quality function and is looking for a Quality Assurance Officer to join its Birmingham site.

The Opportunity:

As a Quality Assurance Officer, you'll play a central role in maintaining GMP compliance across site operations. You'll work closely with Manufacturing, QC and Supply Chain teams to ensure products are manufactured to the highest quality standards:

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing batch manufacturing and packaging records
  • Supporting deviation investigations, CAPAs and change controls
  • Maintaining GMP documentation, SOPs and Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • Providing QA oversight across manufacturing operations
  • Supporting internal audits, supplier audits and regulatory inspections
  • Monitoring quality metrics and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Promoting a strong quality culture across the business

About you:

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous Quality Assurance experience within pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of GMP regulations and pharmaceutical quality sytems
  • Experience reviewing batch documentation
  • Hands-on experience with deviations, CAPAs, change controls and document control
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • The ability to build strong working relationships across multiple departments

Desireable

  • Experience within specialist pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Exposure to MHRA inspections or audit preparation
  • Experience supporting highly regulated manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of controlled products or complex pharmaceutical supply chains
