We are looking for a Quality Assurance Officer who is detail-oriented, proactive, and a collaborative to join our Quality Assurance Analytical team, based at our UCB campus in Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium.

About The Role

As a Quality Assurance (QA) Officer, you will ensure the quality oversight of laboratory operations, making sure they are conducted according to internal procedures, policies, and applicable regulations. You will develop and implement strategies to maintain a State of Compliance and a State of Control for Quality Control Operations.

Who You Will Work With

You will collaborate closely with the Braine Quality Control team and related supporting services to optimize interactions and continuously improve processes and systems. You will also support interactions between Quality Control and Contract Laboratory Organizations (CLOs).

What You Will Do

Ensure quality oversight of the Quality Control (QC) laboratories operations.

Assure compliance with applicable regulations, guidelines and internal standards.

Develop and implement system and process improvements.

Ensure follow-up of QC laboratories deviations, investigations, change control & CAPA.

Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Control System.

Support regulatory inspections and audits.

Contribute to Quality Assurance and Quality Control projects.

Drive continuous improvement projects.

Interested? For this role, we are looking for the following qualifications, experience, and skills:

Master’s Degree and strong knowledge and experience in analytical techniques and applicable regulations (EU GMP, US CFR, ICH, …).

Proven experience (5+ years) in Quality Assurance & Quality Control within a GMP pharmaceutical environment.

Collaborative mindset

Excellent analytical & organizational skills.

Ability to balance multiple priorities and provide leadership.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Fluent in French and English.
