Pilgrim Aerospace Fasteners is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team, specializing in fasteners. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with measuring equipment such as gages, micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators, and be able to perform mechanical and dimensional inspections to ensure product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical testing and dimensional inspections on incoming products to ensure they meet specifications and standards.
Utilize measuring tools such as gages, micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators to verify product dimensions.
Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with quality standards.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to confirm product specifications.
Conduct inspections of in-process materials, raw materials, and finished goods to ensure quality standards are met throughout the production process.
Interpret and compare test results to determine product conformity and compliance with standards.
Perform visual inspections of finished products to identify any defects or deviations from standards.
Complete and maintain accurate Quality Control documentation, including inspection reports and calibration logs.
Pass periodic eye examinations to ensure visual inspection accuracy.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality inspection, preferably in the fasteners industry.
PPAP/APQP experience is preferred.
Strong ability to use measuring instruments like micrometers, gages, and optical comparators.
Basic math and computer skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Observant, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications.
Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to work day shift and overtime as needed.

Full time, direct hire with competitive wages that begin at $20/hr., top pay will be determined based on experience.
