What You’ll Do
Craft a stellar team by training your crew for final inspections and guiding them through customer acceptance tests as per Powell Standards.
Manage and oversee inspection schedules to align with delivery benchmarks.
Embed yourself as an expert in electronic equipment, offering invaluable insights on microprocessor-based relays and PLCs.
Become Powell Automation Smart Products’ primary knowledge resource.
Contribute to equipment inspections systematically at Powell’s facilities.
Dive into complex root cause analyses to troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures.
Ensure meticulous documentation and upkeep of test equipment, ensuring precision in calibration and maintenance.
Collaborate at the helm of communication with all departments including sales, engineering, and shipping to mediate and resolve quality-related challenges.
Lead and immerse yourself in Powell’s continuous improvement initiatives, championing a culture of safety at every turn.
Your Profile
A high school diploma or GED, backed by at least 8 years in the industrial electrical sector, or an associate degree in electrical technology.
A master in interpreting engineering specs, drawings, and electrical diagrams with advanced supervisory experience.
Refined skills in electrical and mechanical principles, fortified by a comprehensive understanding of industry codes.
Working and Physical Demands
Engage in a dynamic mix of both indoor and outdoor manufacturing settings, adhering to necessary safety protocols.
Ability to operate confidently at heights above four feet, maintaining balance and agility.
