Job Summary:
We’re seeking a Junior QA Consultant to join our client team in Georgia. This role supports the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) and plays a key part in testing and quality assurance for custom-built and GIS-integrated applications.
Responsibilities:
Develop and document test strategies, scenarios, and test cases
Execute manual and automated tests for web/mobile apps
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
Identify and resolve bugs; report anomalies using tracking tools
Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Participate in status meetings, defect triages, and demos
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in QA/software testing
Experience in large system development projects
Skilled in test automation and use of QA tools (GitHub, JIRA, TFS, ServiceNow)
Strong documentation and communication skills
Familiarity with STLC, SDLC, Agile methodology
Experience with GIS components and public sector is a plus
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Certifications (Preferred):
ISTQB
CSTE
CAST
Schedule & Location:
Hybrid role, must be local to Atlanta, GA 30308
One in-office day per week required
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
