Summary:
As Quality Program Lead, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and assisting in the day-to-day management of QA activities in our manufacturing plants. You will be leading a team of QA technicians within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Primary Responsibilities:
Manage and lead the QA team across 3 shifts ensuring tasks are conducted efficiently and meet business needs.
Develop a constructive work environment through interpersonal skills, team building, leadership, and open communication.
Provide expertise and support to management on QA and Food Safety activities.
Conduct internal audits to support GFSI program compliance.
Lead HACCP, GMP, and BRC programs including updates, maintenance, and validation.
Ensure regulatory compliance across all plants and coordinate audits.
Complete and evaluate supplier audits, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Innovate audit practices and document new policies.
Identify training needs and organize relevant training sessions.
Draft and implement QA/food safety policies and SOPs.
Perform risk assessments and root cause analyses on non-conformities.
Ensure pest control and continuous process improvement.
Required Experience:
Postsecondary degree in Biology, Food Science, or related field.
At least 5 years in a QA leadership role in food manufacturing.
Internal auditor certification.
Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and GFSI audits.
Experience with continuous improvement methodologies like Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
Strong leadership, communication, and MS Office skills.
