The Quality Process Improvement Coordinator plays a vital role in enhancing product quality, streamlining processes, and driving continuous improvement across company locations. This position focuses on quality assurance, cost efficiency, on-time product delivery, and cross-functional collaboration to strengthen overall operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
Quality & Process Improvement
Partner with facility Quality Managers to implement and sustain continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure adherence to weld quality systems and industry best practices.
Develop and document quality system procedures, work instructions, and forms to support improvement activities.
Data-Driven Decision Making
Analyze production and quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Conduct process capability studies to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Utilize root cause analysis tools to troubleshoot issues and implement long-term solutions.
Auditing & Compliance
Perform facility quality assessments to ensure compliance with internal and industry standards.
Support audits of engineering and manufacturing processes to drive best practices.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
✔ High school diploma or equivalent
✔ 5+ years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
✔ 2+ years of experience auditing engineering and manufacturing processes
✔ 2+ years of experience conducting root cause analysis
✔ 2+ years of experience performing process capability studies
✔ Advanced expertise in welding and fabrication
✔ Basic experience with BI report writing and data analysis
Preferred Qualifications:
➤ Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
➤ AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification
➤ Six Sigma Black Belt certification
➤ 5+ years of experience auditing engineering and manufacturing processes
➤ 2+ years of experience in BI report writing and data analysis
➤ 5+ years of experience conducting process capability studies
