Basic Job Purpose
This role is to proactively maintain and improve product/service quality through the development and implementation of comprehensive quality assurance processes. This includes conducting regular audits and inspections, identifying and addressing defects, collaborating with teams on corrective actions, analysing performance data, and providing ongoing training to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Responsibilities
Manage the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with company policies and objectives.
Maintaining quality-related accreditations.
Analyse quality results and track performance against established objectives.
Assist in periodic reporting.
Lead internal audits and identify non-compliance issues.
Assist in customer audits and follow up on non-compliance issues.
Support corrective actions through independent assessments.
Assist in issuing and completing customer inquiries, questionnaires, product specifications and declarations.
Maintain and update quality manual, procedures, and forms.
Recommend amendments to enhance quality standards.
Conduct investigation of customer complaints, follow up and assist in root cause analysis.
Monitor and verify the completion of corrective actions.
Issue NC reports to internal and suppliers for all non-conforming products
Collect and analyse statistical quality data to identify areas for improvement.
Perform QA inductions for newly joined employees.
Prepare reports to communicate the outcomes of quality activities.
Encourage personnel participation in quality improvement programs.
Contribute to projects relating to Quality Improvement initiatives.
Release the product when necessary.
Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Ensure compliance with all relevant quality, environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures, and authorised to stop work in case of unsafe acts or conditions.
Qualifications And Skills
2-4 years as QA Engineer.
Certified ISO 9001 Internal Quality Auditor. Excellent procedure writing skills.
Proficiency in Quality tools such as Root cause analysis, 8D, 5 whys, SPC is an advantage.
Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams.
Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Degree in Engineering related field or equivalent qualification
